ABOUT US

Welcome to St. George’s Church, Lowville!  We are part of the Anglican Diocese of Niagara in Ontario, Canada.  We are located on Guelph Line in Milton, immediately north of Derry Road and about 5 km south of the village of Campbellville. Our building is fully accessible and we have plenty of paved parking

We meet on Sundays at 9:30 am to celebrate the Eucharist (Holy Communion). The style of our service is uniquely progressive, but recognizably Anglican, involving the children throughout the service until their 'special activity' during the sermon towards the end.

Everyone is welcome at St. George’s Anglican Church, Lowville, regardless of their social status, race, sexual orientation, or other apparent differences.  We are committed to inclusivity and hospitality, values Jesus clearly demonstrated throughout his ministry. We believe Jesus' message is one of 'good news' because it teaches us that we are loved just as we are, and out of the abundance of God's grace and love, we are energized to love our neighbours. We are to respect other people, whether we are similar or different, whether or not we agree on everything. We hope you'll join us soon!

St. George's Anglican Church acknowledges, that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and directly adjacent to Haldimand Treaty territory. We seek a new relationship with the Original Peoples of this land, one based in honour and deep respect.
